The pants are cut large to fit over several layers of clothing and body armor. The shell material is a carefully selected, tested microfiber that is impregnated with a thin layer of silicone. This material is lightweight, windproof, highly water resistant, and breathable. The added silicone also enhances abrasion resistance. The pants feature a full side zip, allowing maximum ventilation and ease in taking pants on or off over boots. The waist is fully adjustable with a hook and loop system, and suspender loops are included. We have added 330 denier Cordura nylon reinforcement panels in the seat and knees. The ankle closures are elasticized with hook & loop fasteners.
